1. Services Provided

Urban Woof YYC offers professional private dog walking, pet sitting, and Pack Adventures (off-leash group play in a fenced private park, combined with on-leash excursions) in Calgary, AB. All services are subject to availability and client/pet suitability.

2. Client Responsibilities

• Clients must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding their pet’s behavior, health, temperament, vaccination status, spay/neuter status and special needs.

• Dogs must be licensed, fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered (dependent on dog's age) and in good health.

• Equipment (leash, collar, harness, etc.) must be provided and in good working condition.

• Off-leash activities require strong recall and social behavior. Urban Woof YYC reserves the right to assess suitability for group walks.

• Clients must notify Urban Woof YYC of any schedule changes or updates to pet care needs as soon as possible.

3. Scheduling and Cancellations

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less notice may be subject to a fee.

• No-shows or missed visits without notice will be billed at the full rate.

• Emergency no-show refunds will be at the discretion of Urban Woof YYC.

4. Payments

• Payment is due at the time of booking.

• Accepted methods: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, VISA Debit, Google Pay or Apple Pay.

5. Emergencies and Veterinary Care

• In case of emergency, Urban Woof YYC will attempt to contact the client immediately.

• If unreachable, we are authorized to seek veterinary care deemed necessary. All related costs are the client’s responsibility.

• We are not liable for illness or injury that arises despite reasonable care.

6. Liability

• Urban Woof YYC and its staff are not liable for injury, illness, escape, or death of any pet under our care, unless due to gross negligence.

• Off-leash activities are conducted only with owner consent. Participation indicates acceptance of inherent risks.

• We are fully insured, and all reasonable precautions will be taken to ensure pet safety.

7. Access to Property

• Client keys or access codes will be securely stored and used only for the purposes of scheduled visits.

• Clients must ensure safe, unobstructed access to their home or building.

8. Photos and Social Media

• With your permission, through our Testimonials and Media Release Form, we may take photos of your pet during walks, pack adventures or visits to share on social media or our website.

• No personal information will be shared without explicit consent.

9. Termination

• Either party may terminate services at any time with reasonable notice.

• Prepaid services will be refunded on a prorated basis, unless cancellation is due to client policy violation or behavior concerns.

10. Agreement

By booking services with Urban Woof YYC, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. Urban Woof YYC reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and/or communicated directly to active clients.
